Having started out as a nurse, I ended up being a lawyer instead. In 1975, I climbed to the very top of Australia - Mount Kosziuszko... and that was easy. My brother and his wife climbed to the top of Kilimanjaro in 1988... and that was easy. All of the guys in last year's climb team look really old so it should be easy if they managed to do it. Besides, it will be a good chance to get away from my four children and my sister Nancy. Seriously though, I am excited about participating in a fund raising event for an organization that gives hope to children and families. I am particularly fond of children and enjoy coaching and teaching Sunday School. |
